Biotechnology company Antigenics Inc. on Monday named former Sanofi-Aventis executive Timothy Rothwell to its board of directors.
Rothwell, 58, was president, chairman and CEO of Sanofi-Aventis U.S. for two years and announced his retirement in February. He has also worked for Pharmacia Corp., Novartis AG's Sandoz unit, and Bristol-Myers Squibb Co.
Antigenics shares fell 9 cents, or 4.2 percent, to close at $2.06.
